Here’s a lovely Victorian piece. A tiny heart brooch surrounded with rhinestones. It has such a magical glow and is quite the treasure! The back helps to date the piece although no one can ever be certain. The early hinge and pin extending past the brooch dates the brooch to the middle 1800′s. I took pictures of it in the palm of my hand to show how tiny the brooch really is.

Of all the vintage rhinestone flag brooches available- I like the signed Weiss version the best with the red rectangular rhinestones. Many of the unsigned version have all round rhinestones. The look of the Weiss seems a bit more dramatic and definitely a higher quality. Fireworks anyone?

This is definitely another favorite from my personal collection. This Maltese cross is the color of gun meta and just covered with rhinestones. I bought in one of the famous Cape Cod thrift stores while enjoying Christmas vacation 2006.
