A Rope of Pearls Continued; a Juliet Cap, a Bib, and a Huge Ring
The two faux jewelry pieces I want to highlight, left to right – a huge ring by Marvella ($3.00 in 1969), a large Bib also by Marvella ($25.00 in 1969) and a Juliet Cap of chain and faux pearls ($45 by Napier 1969).

These are so cool. I especially like the one wrapped around the bun in her hair.
Hi Melissa- I thought it was cool too and the price wow $45 in 1969… that’s kind of high end for jewelry!
Just found your blog! It is very nice. We have lots in common – vintage jewelry, vintage magazines and Etsy too!
Love the pearls – I think these became popular when Franco Zefirelli released his movie version of Romeo and Juliet around 1969. Juliet character wore one of those in the movie and I think it was on the poster for the movie too. Zefirelli’s movies are very artistic and always visually beautiful. If you have a chance to see it, do it. It’s a classic.
Best Wishes!

Thanks for dropping by Vera- I will have to check out your movie recommendation, I have never seen it.
