Vintage Bogoff White Rhinestone Flower Brooch Set

Bogoff White Rhinestone Flower Brooch Set

Only one of these brooches is signed Bogoff but they are a set. I like this Bogoff set- the rhinestones are very clear and full of fire, and overall the pair has a very elegant look.

Vintage Danecraft Peter Rabbit Brooch

Danecraft Peter Rabbit Brooch

I can’t decide if this signed Danecraft Rabbit brooch is Peter rabbit or the Easter bunny, I am leaning towards Peter Rabbit- he looks awfully smug as if he is back from stealing carrots in Mr. McGregor’s garden. The coat and the watering can make me think it’s indeed Peter Rabbit- although in the books Peter’s coat was blue and I doubt Mr. McGregor had rhinestone encrusted watering cans.

Vintage Pol Rab “Ric” the Scottish Terrier Brooch

Pol Rab "Ric" the Scottish Terrier Brooch

Here’s another Terrier brooch- this one from the 1940′s by the artist Pol Rab. There is another matching brooch, that I did not aqire with this one. The other brooch, is a Terrier named Rac – as in Ric and Rac. Here is a link to a Pol Rab drawing featuring the terriers.

Vintage Gerrys Black Puppy Dog Rhinestone Pin Brooch

Gerrys Black Puppy Dog Rhinestone Pin Brooch

If the children keep asking for a dog- do you think it would work if I gave them a costume jewelry dog. Probably not- but this cutie has relatively all his black paint and does not shed. Signed Gerry’s- I think he is adorable and probably house broken.
