Good condition antique brooch- measures approximately 1 & 5/16ths of an inch across. The brooch has a bail to be worn as a pendant as well as brooch. The front is quite lovely and most of the black enameling is still intact as shown. The back does have more wear then the front and is slightly bent in places but otherwise very nice.
Good condition Victorian brooch with marcasites and a cut out of a stag in the center. The brooch does have a lot of tarnish and may or may not need cleaning- that is up to you. It appears to have all the marcasites- there is some dirt in some of the settings however. The brooch is not marked that I can make out and I have not tested it for content. Measures 1 & 7/16ths inches across by 1 & 1/8ths inches tall. Back pin is slightly bent and does extend past the pin- appears to be older Victorian.
Very good condition unmarked antique seed pearl brooch. There are what looks like well over 100 tiny seed pearls strung on this tiny brooch. I only noticed one spot were there may be a missing pearl on the center of one round floral (you can see it in picture number one – just to the right of the very top center). There are no loose strings- so it appears to be still very much intact. It presumed that this is strung with white horse hair on a mother of pearl base. Back is unmarked and has a c clasp. Brooch measures 1 & 1/16ths inches across by 7/8ths on an inch tall.
This is a lovely Victorian carved jet mourning brooch. As you can see it has obvious damage to the top. It has a small piece broken from the top portion and there are obvious cracking fissures through it. It does not appear to me to be repaired. I would not handle it too much as real jet (not french jet which is glass) is fragile. The brooch measures 1 & 5/8ths inches across.
