This small treasure is an old watch enhancer brooch- there is a pendant bail on the back in which the person wearing would hang their watch from. It is marked by the maker but hard for me to make out. In person the leaves do not appear to have as much wear as the camera picked up. The one thing I noticed is that it looks like it may have had a safety clasp and is now just a c-clasp. Either way the pin is very secure and does stay shut in the mechanism. 3/4th inches tall by 1 inch across.

Lovely, very good condition Victorian lover’s knot pin accented with a small opal- the pin is just under an inch in diameter. There is some tarnish and wear to the pin that can be expected of a pin this old.
